Communications Support For Your RBS 6 Nations Club Event

Planning to capitalise on the RBS 6 Nations? You can download our support pack which includes an event poster and a press release template which can be personalized to promote your event in your locality and in local media.

An RBS 6 Nations Club Day will allow you to generate income and open your club up to your local community.

Attached you will find a press release and poster template to support your efforts to have members who are not travelling to the AVIVA to for the Home RBS Six Nations Internationals to watch the matches in their local rugby club, to generate income for the club.

The press release can be issued to local media targeting the newspaper that will publish in the week before each match (note that the editorial deadline for local newspapers can vary and you should check your local paper’s deadlines directly), can be placed on your club website and promoted on your club Facebook page and on Twitter.

The template should be amended by your Public Relations Office to suit your event and should outline exactly what your club will offer on the day – for example, if you have the budget to do so you may wish to organise music, finger food or a children’s entertainer as this may allow parents to enjoy the club atmosphere.
