Ireland Sell Out Aviva Stadium For Six Nations Dates

Ireland has sold out the Aviva Stadium for their RBS 6 Nations home games against Scotland, Wales and Italy in 2014.

Ireland’s opening fixture of the Championship is against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, February 2 (kick-off 3pm).

Six days later, Joe Schmidt’s men return to the Dublin 4 ground to host reigning RBS 6 Nations champions Wales on Saturday, February 8 (kick-off 2.30pm).

Ireland’s final home match of the tournament sees Italy line out at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, March 8 (kick-off 2.30pm)

Padraig Power, Director of Commercial and Marketing at the IRFU, commented: “Following the scintillating performance against New Zealand, Ireland fans have been looking forward to the forthcoming RBS 6 Nations with huge anticipation.

“The Irish fans turned the Aviva Stadium into a cauldron of noise in November and with three sell-out home games the atmosphere in the stadium will be electric.”

The visiting Unions are expected to take their full allocation of Aviva Stadium tickets. Should any tickets be returned to the IRFU they will be released on general sale.

Ticketing information for the Women’s RBS 6 Nations fixture against Italy at the Aviva Stadium on March 8 will be released in January.
