Quartet Expected To Be Available For Ulster

Luke Marshall, Andrew Trimble, Darren Cave and Rob Herring all suffered soft tissue injuries during Ulster’s interprovincial derby defeat to Leinster at the RDS last Saturday.

All four players are responding well to treatment and are expected to be available for selection for next Friday night’s interprovincial match against Munster at Ravenhill.

Iain Henderson, Chris Henry and Nick Williams have all resumed full training. A decision on whether they will feature against Munster will be taken later in the week.

The province’s regular captain Johann Muller will be available for selection having been rested for round 11 game against Leinster.

Paddy Wallace, meanwhile, has a muscle tear in his leg and will unfortunately be out for up to three weeks.

Rory Best and Tommy Bowe are recovering well from their injuries and continue to be assessed to determine when they will be able to return to play.
