Fun For All Ages At Portadown’s Open Day

Portadown Rugby Club will host a fun-filled and action-packed Open Day at Chambers Park this Saturday (August 24). All are welcome at the club.

The timetable of events for Portadown RFC’s Open Day on Saturday is as follows:

10am-11.15am: Mini rugby and barbecue

– The Minis will be enjoying a fun morning of training and games to welcome players and parents back to the club. The barbecue will be after 11.30am

12.30pm-3pm: Charity Tag rugby event

– Everyong is welcome to the Charity Tag rugby event at the club. All teams get involved and it is open to males and females. The Youth teams will be involved as well

– All proceeds will go to the REAP Project. To register a team, please contact Danny Alexander on 07724206493 or Richy Saunders on 07845352205.

2pm-3.30pm: Portadown RFC v Wanderers

– The Portadown 1st XV have a friendly match against Dublin club Wanderers. All support very welcome and refreshments will be available in the clubhouse

4pm-5.30pm: Portadown RFC Social XV v Orleans (France)

– Portadown’s Social XV squad take on their friends from Orleans in the Friendship Cup

9pm-1am: Disco

There will also be segways, a bouncy castle, face painting, pony riding, an outside disco, barbecue and tuck shop.
