Great Turnout For ‘Belvo’s ‘Give It A Try’ Day

There was a great turnout for the Old Belvedere Ladies’ ‘Give It A Try’ open day at Anglesea Road recently and a few guest appearances to boot.

Over 60 ladies came down to ‘Give It A Try’ in the non-contact session, inclduing 23 new recruits.

The Women’s Six Nations trophy was also on display on the night with Ireland internationals Nora Stapleton, Jenny Murphy, Maz Reilly and Ailis Egan – all of whom play for the club.

Leinster players Leo Auva’a and Ben Marshall were also there to lend a hand with the training.

Don’t worry if you missed the open day, the ‘Belvo girls are still accepting new players every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. They are currently going back to basics, so it is the perfect time to get involved!

If you live in Dublin and fancy trying out rugby – then please come along.

There are three competitive teams this year – the All-Ireland League Division 1, Leinster Division 1 and Leinster Division 4 sides – so there is a position and a level for everyone!

Find a club in your area and ‘Give It A Try’.
