Leinster Fans Flock To Jersey Signing Session

Leinster Fans Flock To Jersey Signing Session

There was great excitement in and around Henry Street in Dublin city centre on Thursday as Leinster and Ireland trio Sean Cronin, Fergus McFadden and Kevin McLaughlin visited Elverys Sports in Arnotts to meet supporters who were keen to get their hands on the province’s new Canterbury home and away jerseys.

A large following greeted the Leinster players when they arrived in the packed store and after supporters had the chance to meet them and get autographs and photographs, the players took part in a special skills challenge – which was won by hooker Sean Cronin!

The response to the new gear has been hugely positive since last week’s formal launch and the province’s squad are excited about getting the chance to pull on the new kit in the upcoming friendly matches against Ulster in Ravenhill on Friday, August 23 and a week later in the Bank of Ireland friendly at home to Northampton Saints in Donnybrook on Friday, August 30.

The Leinster squad will visit Cill Dara RFC next Friday, August 9 as preparations for the new season continue. The action starts at 12pm and after training there will be opportunities for supporters to meet the players. Entry is free and open to all.
