#O2BehindTheGreen: Balmy Beach Rugby

A big part of any rugby tour is getting to know the locals. With that in mind five of the Ireland squad headed out to Balmy Beach Rugby Club in Toronto for a training session with their youth teams.

Ian Madigan, Mike McCarthy, Darren Cave, Felix Jones and Andrew Trimble took the kids from the club through a training session with skills and drills and rounded off the evening with a game of touch followed by a Q&A session.

We also spoke to Balmy Beach’s director of youth rugby Jim Drohan about the importance of such visits.
