Longford’s Greenway Cycle For Charitable Trust

Longford Rugby Club is organising the first of what they hope will evolve into an annual Sponsored Charity Cycle to raise funds for the IRFU Charitable Trust and the Club.

The first Greenway cycle takes place On 26th May. The aim (in addition to raising funds) is to provide participants, young and old alike, with a fun, social and healthy day out.

The Cycle will be along the Great Western Greenway or, in the case of the young children and less energetic adults, the final leg of 13km.

The day includes

  • Buses from Rugby Club to Wesport
  • Bikes supplied
  • Westport to Achill on the Greenway
  • Buffet Lunch in Achill Sound in Óstán Oileán Acla Hotel

The day will round off with a Questions & Answers Session with special guest – Mick Quinn,  former Ireland & Lions
international.
