British & Irish Cup Final Set For May 17

Newcastle Falcons have confirmed that their British & Irish Cup final clash with Leinster ‘A’ will take place at Kingston Park on Friday, May 17 (kick-off 7.30pm).

The Falcons secured their safe passage to the final thanks to last Saturday’s 18-15 victory at fellow RFU Championship side Bedford Blues.

Girvan Dempsey’s Leinster ‘A’ team, fresh from their win over provincial rivals Munster ‘A’, will be visiting the region for the first time and the Falcons look forward to welcoming them to Kingston Park.

Newcastle’s sales and marketing director Duncan Edward said: “Games are coming thick and fast and we urge the region to come down to Kingston Park to roar the boys to victory.

“Leinster ‘A’ have a young team of future stars, and you will have the chance to see them in action first hand. We are working with the RFU on ticket pricing and will announce this shortly.”
