Sevens Events Across Ireland In 2013

With the All-Ireland Club Sevens Championships taking place in UCD on Saturday, August 17, clubs preparing to compete have a wealth of top established Sevens events to choose from this summer.

There are new additions and traditional favourites for clubs to enter this year with the first Sevens event kicking off on a busy May weekend in three different areas with lots more to follow elsewhere.

A full list of these Sevens tournaments with links to further information may be found here on www.irfusevens.ie.

Teams entering the 2013 IRFU Clubs Sevens Championships will be contesting each other for the following:

Senior Men – Represent fellow Irish clubs at the 2014 Amsterdam Sevens.
Division 1 Women – As with Senior Men’s winners, entry to the 2014 Amsterdam Sevens

Junior Men – VIP guests at the Aviva Stadium for a Guinness Series 2013 international.
Division 2 Women – As with Junior Men’s winners, guests at a Guinness Series 2013 international.

This year will also see the staging of an Open Sevens competition for participating teams from overseas.
