Functional Movement Course Proves Popular

The latest IRFU Sports Medicine events were held in Cork and Dublin over the weekend. Dr. Lee Burton delivered a Level 1 Functional Movement Screen course on Friday in Charleville and a Level 2 course on Saturday and Sunday in the AVIVA Stadium.

Dr. Lee Burton is a world expert on functional movement and corrective exercise strategies and this was his second time coming to Ireland after his initial visit in December last year.

Over 80 medical professionals attended the courses.

The next IRFU Sports Medicine event is the Level 2 SAFE Rugby course in Thomond Park on Sunday, May 12 for club and school medical professionals.
