Ups And Downs In Ulster Bank League

Three of the divisions in the Ulster Bank League have been completed with promotion and relegation decided, while Division 1B has a final round to play next weekend. Check out the ups and downs across the league.

ULSTER BANK LEAGUE:

DIVISION 1A:

All-Ireland League champions: Lansdowne

Runners-up: Garryowen

Relegation/promotion play-off: Shannon (Division 1A) v UCD (Division 1B)

Relegated: UL Bohemians

DIVISION 1B:

Division 1B champions/Promoted: Ballynahinch

Runners-up (relegation/promotion play-off): UCD (will play Shannon for a place in Division 1A next season)

Relegated (two automatic): Ballymena, Bruff

DIVISION 2A:

Division 2A champions: Terenure College

Promoted (two automatic): Terenure College, Corinthians

Relegated (two automatic): Midleton, De La Salle Palmerston; Relegated via play-off: Greystones

DIVISION 2B:

Division 2B champions: Rainey Old Boys

Promoted (two automatic): Rainey Old Boys, NUIM Barnhall; Promoted via play-off: Naas

Relegated (one automatic): Connemara; Relegated via play-off: Clonakilty

PROVINCIAL QUALIFYING LEAGUE ROUND ROBIN SERIES:

Winners/Promoted: Tullamore (will play in Ulster Bank League Division 2B in 2013/14 season)

Runners-up/Promoted: Richmond (gained promotion via play-off win over Clonakilty; will play in Division 2B next season)
