Ulster Bank League: Division 2A Previews

Only two games in Division 2A this weekend as clubs catch up on games affected by the weather. The action takes place in Kirwan Park and Rifle Park.

ULSTER BANK LEAGUE: DIVISION 2A: Saturday, April 6

Kick-off 2.30pm unless stated –

Banbridge (5th) v Seapoint (9th), Rifle Park

A win this weekend would see the Bann move into 4th place ahead of City of Derry.

A bonus point win – and they have accumulated eight try bonuses to date – would see them two points clear of their Ulster rivals.

Seapoint come into the game on the back of a loss to Old Crescent and a mid table finish is really all they can aim for now.

DLSP (16th) v Queen’s (13th), Kirwan Park

It is mathematically possible for DLSP to avoid relegation but it would take two bonus point wins and a series of other unlikely results.

For Queens this is an opportunity to pull clear of Greystones and probably leave the Wicklow club facing a relegation playoff.

An away win on the cards.
