Munster Issue Update On Player Contracts

Munster senior squad members Ian Nagle and Ivan Dineen have extended their contracts with the province, it has been confirmed today.

Ian Nagle has agreed a one year extension, while Ivan Dineen, who was recently added to Munster’s Heineken Cup squad for the knockout stages, has signed on for a further two seasons.

Scrum half Cathal Sheridan, another member of that Heineken Cup panel, moves from a development to a full one-year contract, while back rower Barry O’Mahony has extended his development contract for another season.

Winger/full-back Sean Scanlon will move away from Munster at the end of the currrent season after agreeing terms with English club Rotherham Titans.

Meanwhile, Academy players Cian Bohane (centre/winger), Duncan Casey (hooker), James Cronin (prop), Ronan O’Mahony (winger) and Niall Scannell (hooker) have all secured developement contracts with Munster for the 2013/14 season.
