Leinster ‘A’ Prepare For Interpro Clash

The Leinster ‘A’ team will face their Munster counterparts in a friendly match on Thursday afternoon at Donnybrook (kick-off 2.30pm).

The Leinster squad resumed training on Monday morning after a week’s break for those not involved on international duty.

The panel look set to be boosted by the return of several front-iners for Thursday’s game at Donnybrook which has free admission for Leinster Season Ticket holders.

While Thursday’s team is set to be feature some players who have lined out in the British & Irish Cup, it is also hoped that Dominic Ryan and Eoin O’Malley could come back into the frame for selection after stepping up their respective rehabilitations in recent weeks.

The management may look to include the likes of fit-again back rower Rhys Ruddock after featuring in each of the province’s last two games.

Meanwhile, Luke Fitzgerald and Sean O’Brien continue to make good progress with their respective rehab programmes, but this week’s match will be a week or two too soon for both of them.
