Ferris To Miss Springboks Game

It has been confirmed that back rower Stephen Ferris has been ruled out of the opening game of the GUINNESS Series against South Africa next Saturday.

Stephen Ferris has been sidelined by the ankle injury that he picked up while playing for Ulster in their RaboDirect PRO12 win over Edinburgh at Ravenhill on Friday night.

The scale of the injury will keep him out of the Aviva Stadium clash with the Springboks and also the game against Fiji in Limerick the following week.

No decision has been made on his availability for the game against Argentina on Saturday, November 24.
