Hurley Brought Into Ireland Squad

Munster full-back Denis Hurley has been drafted into the Ireland squad as an extra back following the withdrawal of Brian O’Driscoll yesterday. Hurley will come into camp today and train with the squad tomorrow.

Several players have been released back to the provinces for game-time. Paul Marshall, Craig Gilroy and Stephen Ferris have all been released back to play for Ulster as has Ronan O’Gara for Munster.

Prop Declan Fitzpatrick, who was being managed on a graduated return to play programme for a concussion sustained last Friday night, suffered a setback.

He will now be rested until Monday at which time he will recommence the testing procedures. This makes him unavailable for selection until he has completed this programme.

Tickets are selling fast for all three games so do not miss your chance to watch your Irish rugby team in action – buy online now on ticketmaster.ie.
