Women’s All-Ireland League Fixtures Announced

The fixtures for the Women’s All-Ireland legaue and 2012/13 season structure have been announced.

Women’s All-Ireland League champions UL Bohemians will kick off their title defence with a home tie against St. Mary’s College on Sunday, September 23rd.

Bohs have been the dominant force in the club game, although last season they missed out on a cup and league double as Galwegians took the cup title against Highfield with UL taking the plate.

There are three divisions in total with eight teams in Division 1 and 7 teams each in Division 2N and Division 2S.

Tralee, who were promoted from Division 2S, last season kick off with a trip to Old Belvedere.

The season structure sees the Women’s Interprovincial series taking place in December followed by the Provincial Cup competitions as a precusor to the Women’s RBS 6 Nations.

The Women’s All-Ireland Cup will kick off in early March.
