‘Quins Get Ready For RugbyForce Weekend

Belfast Harlequins have got preparations underway for their Ulster Bank RugbyForce day on Saturday, August 4.

This is Belfast Harlequins’ fourth annual ‘workday’ when members spend the day cleaning, painting, landscaping etc in preparation for the new season.

Quins’ have found it a great way to cut costs by using the good will and camaraderie of the club’s members rather than relaying on outside contractors.

This is the first year that Quins have received support from Ulster Bank RugbyForce with a cheque for £250 and a pack with RugbyForce T-shirts for participants.

Club PRO Conor Keown said: “The Ulster Bank RugbyForce is an excellent initiative to encourage rugby clubs to help themselves. Every little help goes a long way when a club is trying to keep costs to a minimum.”
