Ulster Referees Give Their Support To Charitable Trust

Ulster Society of Rugby Football Referees President David Armstrong has presented a £500 cheque to John Callaghan, Chairman of the IRFU Charitable Trust.

This was part of a fundraising effort conducted by the Ulster Society of Rugby Football Referees during the 2011/12 season.

Referees raised money at the annual Ulster Referees dinner and also collected from affiliated clubs throughout the province during the clubs’ IRFU Charitable Trust Day.

The Ulster referees also raised over £1700 for Plan UK, which was the nominated charity of President David Armstrong.

Many thanks to the referees and clubs who contributed to the monies raised.
