It was a remarkable debut at full international level for the Ireland Women’s SEvens squad. The weeks of hard work and the trials in lead-up tournaments paid dividends as the girls in in green went through undefeated and without conceding a point.
The Ireland Women’s Sevens team are now through to the final qualifying tournament in Moscow where they need a top five finish to make it through to the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens.
