Ulster To Host Leicester In Pre-Season Friendly

Ulster Rugby have confirmed that they will play August pre-season friendlies against Bayonne, Leicester Tigers and Newcastle Falcons.

Ulster will begin their 2012/13 preparations with a tie against French Top 14 side Bayonne on Thursday, August 9.

The fixture will be part of a five day pre-season training camp in the south of France and will be played at Parc des Sports Jean Dauger (kick-off 8pm).

Ulster’s first pre-season match at Ravenhill will be played against Leicester Tigers on Saturday, August 18 (kick-off 2.30pm).

The English giants’ most recent visit to Belfast came back in January in the Heineken Cup pool stages when Ulster recorded a famous 41-7 win in front of a sell-out crowd.

Newcastle Falcons will visit Ravenhill the following week for a game on Friday, August 24 (kick-off 7.30pm).

Tickets for the home pre-season friendlies will go on sale on Thursday, June 28.

Fans can secure their places at every Ulster Rugby home game with a 2012/13 Season Ticket. An Ulster Rugby Season Ticket will include both home pre-season friendlies and is available to buy now.

A Season Ticket offers a minimum saving of £67 per adult and £80 per junior. There are a range of standing and seated Season Tickets still available.

To purchase, simply click here or contact Norrie, Jen or Heather in the Ticket Office for more information by calling 02890493222 (option 2).
