Boyne Youngsters To ‘Play Them Next’

Congratulations to Boyne Under-9s who have won the ‘Play Them Next’ competition thanks to O2, and will soon be lining out against Paul O’Connell, Brian O’Driscoll and Jonathan Sexton.

There was huge excitement across the country in the battle to claim the prize of playing Brian, Paul and Johnny next.

When O2 took to the road to meet the finalists and their communities, they were blown away by the enthusiasm showed and effort put in.

The three lads had the very difficult task of picking a winner and as you can see from the video, it really was not easy for them.

After two hours deliberating, the guys came to decision on a winner.

And the winners are…the Boyne RFC Under-9 team!

The boys better get practicing, as this summer they will be taking to the pitch with their idols.
