Munster ‘A’ Step Up Preparations For Cup Semi-Final

In preparation for their British & Irish Cup semi-final showdown with Leinster ‘A’ on Good Friday, the Munster ‘A’ team will play a Munster Academy/Club selection at Temple Hill this Friday (kick-off 6pm).

For their part, Leinster ‘A’ warmed up for the semi-final by trouncing Connacht ‘A’ 50-0 on Wednesday afternoon, a game that saw their latest recruit Brad Thorn make his debut for the province.

The Munster ‘A’ team for Friday’s friendly will include David Wallace and Mike Sherry, both of whom returned from injury in the RaboDirect PRO12 game against Aironi last weekend.

Definitely out of the Munster ‘A’ side is lock Dave Foley having dislocated his shoulder, but the composition of both sides will not be finalised until later today.

* Admission for this fixture at Temple Hill is free
