Munster’s Italian Job Postponed

The RaboDirect PRO12 round 14 game between Aironi and Munster, originally scheduled for this coming Sunday, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

The pitch at the Stadio Zaffanella in Viadana is still covered by the snow that fell during the last week.

The freezing temperature (remaining below 0°C with a low of -12°C during the night) has not allowed the snow to be cleared from the pitch.

The forecast for the upcoming week predicts further snowfalls during the next few days, and especially over the weekend.

The Aironi v Munster match will be played at a new date yet to be announced. Tickets sold for Sunday’s game remain valid for the new date.
