Jones And Condon Added To Munster’s Cup Squad

Full-back/winger Felix Jones and prop Christy Condon have been added to Munster’s Heineken Cup squad, ahead of the province’s final pool match against Northampton Saints.

To register the players, Munster had to deregister two of those who had been included in the original squad.

In that case John Hayes (retired) makes way for Christy Condon, while Peter Stringer provides the slot for Felix Jones who is expected to make a return to action next month.

There is a further opportunity for Munster to add players ahead of the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup.

Meanwhile, Munster continued their preparations for the Heineken Cup round 6 clash with Northampton and the British & Irish Cup quarter-final against the Ulster Ravens with a training session at UL this afternoon.

They complete their preparations in Cork on Friday and the senior squad will fly from Shannon Airport to Luton on Friday morning.
