The Exiles Women”s team will play the Ireland Women’s side in a pre Six Nations warm-up match in Enfield this week. This is the first time the Exiles Women have lined put against the national side.

The match takes place on Saturday, January 21 at the Ireland Women’s squad’s base in Enfield, County Meath.

The Exiles squad includes Kerrie-Ann Craddock (Saracens), Marianne Bowler (Wasps), Alison Powell (Bristol) and Sian Kersee (Richmond), for example, all from major clubs in the Women’s game.

A number of the Ireland Women’s team also play their club rugby in England, so the likes of Lynne Cantwell and Claire Molloy will be familiar with their opposition.
