National Coaches To Assist Exiles Women

The Exiles cast the net far and wide in the search for Irish-qualified players. This has never been more evident than with the Exiles Women’s squad who will participate in an upcoming training session with the coaching staff from the Ireland Women’s squad.

The Exiles Women’s squad have a second training day on Saturday, August 27 in Reading at the Oratory School, following the initial session on Saturday, August 6.

They can look forward to welcoming Philip Doyle, the Ireland Women’s head coach, and Keith Murphy, the Ireland Women’s assistant coach, to this event, where they will take part of the session.

They will also be making a presentation regarding opportunities and pathways into the Ireland national set-up.

Philip and Keith are both hugely excited about the opportunities the Exiles present and are coming across primarily to look at potential players to bring into their current national squad.

A number of the current Ireland Women’s squad have played or are playing in England, including the inaugural winner of the Guinness Rugby Writers Women’s Player of The Year award, Lynne Cantwell.
