Summer time and the living is easy with a host of top tips on nutrition and fitness for young players. The IRFU has designed a range of fact sheets for young players to get the best out of their off-season.

The off-season is a time for rest as well as an opportunity to consider how to stay in shape for the beginning of next season. Both nutrition and conditioning play a role in this and these fact sheets will help you get it right.

Ireland team nutrionist Ruth Wood-Martin has designed a range of fact sheets packed full of advice for young players.

The latest Eat2Compete fact sheet takes a look at ‘Nutritution For The Off-Season’ and is packed with advice on what to eat to achieve your goals.

In ‘Fitness For The Off Season’, IRFU fitness education manager Des Ryan takes us through the steps that young payers should go through to ensure the get the best rest and the best recovery!
