Costello Appointed Munster ‘A’ Coach

Munster have announced that Ian Costello will assume the role of Munster ‘A’ coach, taking over from Anthony Foley who will be the senior squad’s forwards coach from the start of next season.

In addition, Ian Costello, who has been the UL Bohemians director of rugby since 2007, will be skills coach with responsibility for the Munster senior and ‘A’ squads.

Munster report no injury worries following last weekend’s Magners League semi-final win over the Ospreys and the Development team’s encounter with the Ireland Under-20s.

Back rower Denis Leamy received the all-clear after having a scan on a neck injury that forced him to retire in the closing stages of the Ospreys game.

Meanwhile, out-half Declan Cusack and lock Ian Nagle are all expected to train later in the week having picked up knocks playing for the Development side.
