Munster Choose Squad For Scarlets Game

Munster head coach Tony McGahan has announced a 34-man squad for the province’s Magners League trip to Llanelli to face the Scarlets on Saturday (kick-off 6.15pm).

Armed with a 12-point lead at the top of the Magners League table, Munster face the sixth-placed Scarlets who are still in the hunt for a semi-final spot.

On the injury front, scrum half Tomas O’Leary (eye) has made a return to training and is hoping to be available for selection for next week’s clash with defending league champions, the Ospreys.

Munster captain Paul O’Connell, who is nursing an ankle injury, will undergo a reassessment later today.

The province’s 23-man panel to face the Scarlets will be revealed on Friday afternoon.
