Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour

The Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour comes back to Ireland this week and the Webb Ellis trophy will be heading for Clonmel, Waterford and Killarney.

Rugby legends Donal Lenihan, Ciaran Fitzgerald and Marcus Horan, along with MCs Ger Gilroy and Billy Keane, will join the Rugby World Cup trophy next week as it travels around Kerry, Waterford and Tipperary.

The Webb Ellis Cup returns to Ireland from Tuesday, March 15 to Saturday, March 19, following the success of its first expedition around the island last November.

Rugby fans will relive past Rugby World Cup stories and have a chance to look forward to this year’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and have their photograph taken with the cup.

The Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour, presented by Heineken, will stop off at Mulcahy’s in Clonmel on Tuesday, March 15, Mason’s in Waterford on Wednesday, March 16 and McSorley’s in Killarney on Saturday, March 19.
