Reddan Is Ireland’s Only Injury Concern

Scrum half Eoin Reddan is the only injury concern in the Ireland camp following last Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations match against Wales.

Eoin Reddan received a concussion in the first minute of the game in Cardiff and was replaced by Peter Stringer, but recovered well after the incident.

The ball struck Reddan full in the face as he tried to block Lee Byrne’s clearance kick in the opening seconds at the Millennium Stadium.

He will be monitored by the Ireland medical team who will follow the IRB concussion ‘Return to Play’ protocols to determine when he has fully recovered.

He will also see a neurologist this week as part of the concussion management and at this point he is not being ruled out of contention for the final Championship fixture against England.
