New IrishRugby.ie Mobile Site

A new mobile version of IrishRugby.ie – the most popular sports website in Ireland – is now available. All the latest Ireland, Provincial and Club news is now even easier to browse on your mobile handset.

The new mobile version of IrishRugby.ie will load automatically when you browse it on a mobile device. The site has been reconfigured to give an easier user experience.

All of the most popular features from IrishRugby.ie are included on the new mobile site, including the latest news updates from the Ireland camp, the Magners League, the Heineken Cup and the Ulster Bank League.

You can still follow our O2 MatchDay Live service through the new mobile site and of course you can link to www.twitter.com/irfurugby.

IrishRugby.ie/Mobile also includes easy to use links for all the latest fixtures and results and integrated google map links for the Aviva Stadium.

Padraig Power, IRFU Director of Commercial and Marketing, said: “This new mobile version of IrishRugby.ie is another enhancement of our offering to supporters.

“We found that more and more people were browsing the main site from handheld devices and we wanted to offer them the best experience.

“Our App is available from the App store on iTunes, on Nokia with Ovi and on Android phones and now our new mobile internet site means supporters have yet another avenue to interact with us.

“We have had over 70,000 downloads of the app and the feedback has been excellent from supporters and sponsors alike. The new mobile site increases the availability of the brand in the hand and reinforces the IRFU digital presence.”
