Fat Turkey Walk Raises Funds For Charitable Trust

Last Friday saw the presentation of a cheque for 4,500 euro to the IRFU Charitable Trust, raised at Suttonians RFC’s annual Fat Turkey Walk.

Last Christmas saw hundreds of intrepid walkers and runners take to the roads in Sutton and Howth. They defied the weather conditions for the second annual Fat Turkey Walk.

The walk is the brainchild of Suttonians RFC and has raised much-needed funds for the IRFU Charitable Trust and other local beneficiaries.

Peter Murray presented the cheque for €;4,500 to the trust last week. The cheque was gratefully received by Michael McLoughlin and Mick Quinn, who are both members of the Charitable Trust Committee.
