Botha To Leave Ulster

Ulster Rugby today confirmed that their South African prop BJ Botha will be leaving the province at the end of the current season.

BJ Botha, who is currently sidelined with an elbow injury, joined Ulster at the start of the 2008/09 season from the Natal Sharks and has been an integral part of the Ulster squad throughout his time with the province.

The 31-year-old is currently working hard in rehab with Ulster’s medical staff to be fit for the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Northampton Saints in early April and for their remaining Magners League fixtures.

Botha has played 55 times for Ulster to date, scoring tries against the Cardiff Blues and Connacht.
