Announced earlier were the dates and venues for each of the IRFU Club Sevens events. Comprising four provincial Championships, all roads lead to the All-Ireland Championship where winners of Men’s and Women’s divisions will battle it out for their respective national title.
Clubs from all over Ireland will compete for places in the IRFU Club Sevens All-Ireland Championship, which will taking place at St. Mary’s College RFC in Dublin on Saturday, May 21.
The clubs will qualify for the All-Ireland event via their own provincial Championships in early to mid-May.
The winners of Men’s Senior and Junior and Women’s Senior divisions will qualify to proudly represent Ireland
in an Ultimate 7s event in Europe during the summer.
2010/11 IRFU CLUB SEVENS TOURNAMENTS:
Saturday, May 7: IRFU Club Sevens – Munster Championship (Cork Institute of Technology, Cork), Ulster Championship (Belfast Harlequins RFC, Belfast)
Saturday, May 14: IRFU Club Sevens – Leinster Championship (Terenure College and Terenure College grounds), Connacht Championship (Galway Corinthians RFC, Galway)
Saturday, May 21: IRFU Club Sevens – All-Ireland Championship (St. Mary’s College RFC, Dublin)
