Ireland Under-20 Match Cancelled

Ireland Under-20 head coach Mike Ruddock will miss a chance to run the rule over his extended squad as the U-20s’ traditional pre-Christmas match again Leinster ‘A’ has fallen foul of the current weather conditions.

The match, which was due to be played at Donnybrook on Wednesday, is usually a chance for the Ireland Under-20 management to run the rule over players they have been monitoring in the early part of the season.

The Ireland U-20s open their defence of the RBS Under-20 6 Nations title away to Italy in early February. They are at home against France at Dubarry Park a week later.

They then travel to Scotland at the end of that month before a trip to Cardiff Arms Park in early March. Mike Ruddock’s side will round of the Championship against England on March 18.
