Earlier Kick-Off Time For Munster-Cardiff Clash

Due to the adverse weather conditions, a decision has been made to move the kick-off time for Saturday’s Magners League clash between Munster and the Cardiff Blues at Thomond Park from 7.30pm to the new time of 5pm.

The decision was made to allow every possibility of the game going ahead as planned. All match tickets purchased remain valid for the new kick-off time of 5pm.

The gates will open at Thomond Park at 3pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, with 10 players returning from international duty, Munster have delayed their squad announcement for the Cardiff Blues game until Thursday.

On Tuesday, the wintry weather forced Munster to move their morning and afternoon squad sessions from UL, where the pitches were frozen, to Garryowen’s facility at Dooradoyle.

The Munster players who were involved in Ireland’s 29-9 win over Argentina all reported fit and well for training.

Also taking part in training was Munster captain Paul O’Connell, who completed his first 40 minutes of the season last Friday for his club Young Munster. Speculation is mounting that he could make the squad for the Cardiff game.
