O’Sullivan To Coach Munster Women

Munster Rugby have confirmed the appointment of John O’Sullivan as the new Munster Women’s head coach.

John O’Sullivan, who is originally from Cobh, County Cork, succeeds Fiona Steed who coached the Munster Women to their their fourth consecutive Interprovincial Championship title last season.

A former Munster Junior player, O’Sullivan was captain of Cobh Pirates for seven seasons before going on to coach the club and more recently, All-Ireland League side Dolphin.

He also coached the Ireland Women’s squad for two seasons, and the Munster Youths during the 2007/08 campaign.
