Ugandan Club Kitted Out By Connacht

Connacht Rugby is supporting communities at home and abroad. One of their most recent initiatives has seen them kit out a rugby club in Uganda.

You may remember the terrorist attack on the rugby club in Kampala, Uganda during the recent soccer World Cup, well Connacht Rugby sent a full kit to this same club after last season as funding and kit is hard to come by.

This year, Connacht are supporting the Kenya Rugby Patrons Society who offer training and a sporting alternative to the street children of Nairobi.

Clubs and schools from across the province have joined forces with the Connacht senior squad to donate unwanted rugby kit to this very worthy cause.

If you would like to donate any unwanted sports gear, you can do so by contacting your local rugby club, dropping it into the Sportsground on College Road in Galway, or by holding a collection yourself and Connacht Rugby can arrange for it to be collected.
