Connacht Players Visit Summer Camp

Connacht prop Robbie Morris and centre Keith Matthews joined members of the Try Rugby Summer Camps this week to help coach and develop rugby skills at the Dangan Summer Camp.

The Connacht Try Rugby Summer Camps are sponsored by Centra and are run by the Connacht Branch to provide an introduction to rugby for children from 6 to 12 years-old.

The camps are led by qualified coaches and introduce skills such as passing, kicking, tackling and teamwork in a fun and safe environment.

Each week, members of the Connacht Squad pay a visit to camps to help the coaches and pass on some of their best advice and tips.

Robbie Morris, the province’s ex-England prop, and Keith Matthews, who won the Churchill Cup with Ireland ‘A’ last summer, were on hand at the Dangan Summer Camp.
