Young Munster Host Tag Blitz

Almost 200 boys and girls from ten Limerick primary schools recently took park in a Tag rugby blitz held at Young Munster RFC’s Tom Clifford Park.

Munster Rugby Domestic Rugby staff members, Noel O’Meara, Colm McMahon, Amanda Greensmith, Ed Daly and George Guilfoyle, were on hand on the day to referee the games which were co-ordinated by Young Munster director of rugby Mike Prendergast.

There were plenty of organised matches for the boys and girls to show off their running, passing and evasion skills and the day saw many tries scored, with fun and participation very much the main focus.

Munster Rugby thanked all the schools and teachers who helped to make the event a fantastic day and also Young Munster RFC for the use of their facilities at Greenfields.
