Munster Players Visit Tipperary Tag Extravaganza

Cashel RFC recently hosted this year’s Tipperary Tag Rugby Extravaganza with local primary school children in attendance over the half day duration.

Schools played an average of four games each and the skills on display highlighted that rugby in Tipperary is vibrant and in a very healthy condition.

Members of Cashel RFC were on hand to referee, facilitate and work with the schools to make the 2010 Tipperary Tag Rugby Extravaganza a great success.

Kevin Leamy of Cashel RFC co-ordinated the event and invited his brother Denis Leamy along with his Munster team-mates Julien Brugnaut and Denis Fogarty who presented the prizes to the teams.

Munster Rugby thanked the teachers involved for giving their time on what was a very enjoyable day, and Cashel RFC for the use of their facilities.
