Ulster Announce Squad For Connacht Clash

Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin has named an extended 29-man squad ahead of their final Magners League game of the season against provincial rivals Connacht on Friday (Ravenhill, kick-off 7.30pm).

In the forwards, front rowers Nigel Brady and Declan Fitzpatrick return to the Ulster senior squad after featuring for the Ulster Ravens in the recent British & Irish Cup semi-final against Munster.

There are two additions in the backs, with call-ups for Fijian winger Timoci Nagusa and Ravens regular Tommy Seymour.

Ulster ended a run of six matches without a league win when they ran in five tries for a 37-25 victory over Edinburgh last time out, thus securing their place in next season’s Heineken Cup.

Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin will want his charges to finish the campaign on a high against Connacht.

He has a strong squad to pick from, with Bryn Cunningham, Matt McCullough, Justin Fitzpatrick, Mark McCrea, Cillian Willis and David Pollock the players unavailable due to injury.
