Coleraine Clubman Wins Mr Boots Award

Brian Reid from Coleraine Rugby Club recently received the 2010 Mr Boots award for his services to junior rugby at the club.

The Mr Boots award is an annual award, which has been running for over 30 years. It is open to club volunteers throughout Ireland and recognises outstanding commitment to junior rugby.

During the presentation dinner, held at Dublin’s Carlton Hotel last Friday, Brian Reid of Coleraine Rugby Club was presented with the Mr Boots award by Ulster, Ireland and Lions legend Willie John McBride.

Brian has given over forty years’ service to junior rugby in Coleraine, occupying various different roles at the club throughout this time.

On behalf of the Ulster Branch and the IRFU, we congratulate Brian on his award and commend his tireless work for junior rugby in Coleraine.
