More Bud Light Tag teams are registering every day and as the Tag Rugby season approaches our Fitness experts have put together some top tips for players to make sure they are fit and ready to play when the leagues kick off.

From the tAg-Team to the Z Listers, teams are signing up faster than ever at Bud Light Tag venues all over Ireland. To help them prepare for the tag rugby season we have put together some tips for players on how best to prepare for a game.

Des Ryan, the IRFU’s Fitness Education Manager, has compiled a run-through of advice for the Bud Light Tag player’s pre-season activities.

Before you hit the field and start those fancy backline moves, defence patterns or long passes out wide, check out what Des has to say on getting ready for the season.

During  the summer there will be advice on all sorts of areas to do with playing Bud Light Tag.

Not just warming-up and such like, but tips that will apply to fitness, attack play, defence play and even coaching. All from various experts involved in rugby at its highest level.

See the Fitness & Warming-Up section of this website to read Des Ryan’s latest advice.

This article covers the Bud Light Tag players’ pre-season activities, and in particular those who have not been playing much sport of late.
