Schifcofske Departs Ulster For League Side

Australian full-back/winger Clinton Schifcofske has been released from his Ulster contract to join rugby league club Celtic Crusaders for the remainder of the rugby league season.

A former rugby league player, Clinton Schifcofske crossed codes at the end of 2006, and signed a two-year contract with rugby union side Queensland Reds, before joining Ulster ahead of the 2008/09 campaign.

Despite an injury-curtailed season to date, Schifcofske has made 30 appearances for the province and Ulster Rugby have wished him every success in his return to rugby league.

The 34-year-old scored a try against Edinburgh in his final season for Ulster, and also featured in the home Heineken Cup wins over Bath and Stade Francais.
