Leinster Schools Cups Kick Off In Style

The Powerade Leinster Schools Senior Cup kicks off this Sunday afternoon with a mouth-watering clash at Donnybrook between Belvedere College v Blackrock College (kick-off 2.30pm).

A trio of Leinster and Ireland stars lined out for their schools at the launch of this year’s Leinster Schools Cup competitions – Jonathan Sexton (St. Mary’s College), Cian Healy (Belvedere College) and Jamie Heaslip (Newbridge College).

Commenting on the launch, Erica Roseingrave, Public and Affairs Manager for Coca-Cola HBC Ireland, said: “The Leinster Schools Junior and Senior Cup competitions are very proudly sponsored by Powerade and it is our pleasure to continue our association this year with such exciting and competitive tournaments.

“Ireland and Leinster’s considerable achievements in recent times is due in no small part to the continued strength of the provincial schools rugby competitions.

“I would like to extend our best wishes to the players and coaches of all participating teams, but would also like to give special mention to their supporters, who add such colour and excitement to the finals every year.”
