Ireland’s third game of the new international season will see Declan Kidney’s men battle it out with South Africa in the clash of the champions – the Grand Slam winners against the reigning World Cup and Tri Nations champions – at Croke Park (kick-off 2.30pm).

The last time the Springboks visited Dublin in November 2006, they fell to a 32-15 defeat as tries from Andrew Trimble, Marcus Horan, Shane Horgan and David Wallace helped Ireland roar to victory at Lansdowne Road.
